"Fe tran'n, Soirail!" called Obsidion into the air. He knocked his staff onto the floor twice and the crowd repeated. "Fe tran'n, Soirail!" Then came the unearthly laugh of the Shaman. Then the crowd laughed. This was a bad move. Obsidion stopped his cackling and stared down at the crowd. His red eyes penatrating each and everyone of their souls.
"Badii al naam!" he roared and hit the floor with his staff once more. Hearing this instruction the goblins scurried off to tend to their duties. Obsidion leaned back in his throne. T'was a good day for all goblins.
Fe tran'n, Soirail - All praise, Soirail
Badii al naam - Back to work

Vardian observed the goblin with a cool curiosity. He was perched high above the crowd of goblins below him and was observing this... ritual? service? Vardian was not sure about the goblin's religious tendencies. All he knew was that they did not worship the real god. The god which was the avatar for. His broad wings were spread out and waved slowly in the air, helping the angel to keep his balance so high up and on a precarious ledge.
Vardian had care for almost all creatures in tarantara, an emotion that may or not have been of his own accord but one which he welcomed anyway. These golbins however he felt something different for... something unique. Of all the races of the world, these were there queerest in his eyes. So... unique.
He had no other word for it.
He had watched silently for almost three hours now, and no goblin had bothered to look upwards to the rocky roof yet. He was trying to understand which one was the leader, The one with the staff was obviously of high power, but he had to be sure he was the alpha.
Vardian let out a sigh, "I gave the same curtesies and warnings to the other leaders of the races of the world." he said to himself softly. "Regardless of their history, these creatures deserve the same." He closed his eyes in thought. Soon he would descend to them, and he could only guess what their reaction to a guardian angel in their presence would be...

Obsidion grunted as he watched the goblins mine. They were worthless. Perhaps all those years ago he should have taken over somewhere else. They could barely hold their hammer's in their hands. It would have been nice to have a city outside the caves and on the land. Obsidion was unlike all other goblins he liked light and fire. That was the reason he took the caves and mountains. If he had made his home outside the black eyes of the goblins would burn in the heat. it was ok here though. His hut fitted nicely on the ledge and the fire infront had a nice spot. The roof wasn't too high or too low.
Looking around Obsidion noticed something perculiar. It seemed like a shadow of some sort that cast over the room. Not only that but he did feel an unearthly presents. This shadow was quite strange as it would be casting the other way because the light source was the fire in front of him. With out moving his head he pin pointed exactly where the source of the shadow came from.
Gripping his staff he swung it across his body rapidly causing the fire to grow and move sideways and upward. Looking upward Obsidion watched as the fire grew close to the being. It came to about three inches away from it's... wings?
"Vech bil de!" the goblin shouted up to the winged beast. Realizing he did not understand his language he spoke in the common language. "Who are you!"
Vech bil de - Who are you

Vardian looked up in surprise as the shaman turned around and a wave of fire headed towards the angel preched high in the cave. The bright light of the fire was attracting the attention of many of the goblins and some looked up and dropped their jaws at the sight of the angel sitting up in the roof. Vardian sighed as the flames stopped about three feet away from him and he came into full view for everyone below.
"I guess that answers my question," he sighed to himself. Vardian raised his hand to the flames and they dissapated in a heart beat as he took a step off the rocky outcropping, his wings broadening with the new air. The angel free fell to the ground near where the shaman was when he angled his flight upwards and landed beside the goblin with a slight thud as his feet hit the stone.
"My name is Vardian Custodio. Avatar of the Lord Above," he said to the goblin in a harmonious voice. "Are you the commander here?"

Seeing the amazment of the goblins he hit the floor with his staff once more and shouted. "Al naam!" They then scurried off back to work looking over their shoulders every now and then. Staring at the winged angel 'Vardian', he gazed into his eyes. His red eyes burning.
"Of course." he murmered and turned back around to watch the goblins work. "Why do you come here, Avatar?" he questioned. It was not everyday you saw an angel up on your roof. Though, Obsidion didn't seem that amazed.
Al naam - To work

Vardian tilted his head for a second to study the shaman with more intrigue. "Your name is Obsision isn't it?" He kept looking at him. "Yes. I know of you shaman. Mages are rare enough for me to notice."
He looked over the goblins. "Are you are preparing for war?" He could see goblins everywhere mining minerals from the earth, but from where he was he was too far away to see what it was. It could have been iron for war, but it could also have been jewels for crafting, or anything really. Vardian was just stabbing in the dark, a saying made all to literal in the darkness of the cavern. "You and the dwarves have had no love lost have you?" Another stab...
Vardian looked back at the shaman to see if he was wearing any weapons of significance, but he could only see the shaman's staff. "What exactly do you have planned for the goblins and your flame?" Vardian queried...

ooc: I know it's only minor but can you not make assumption. I don't want to be fussy but i clearly stated that the goblins were mining. And in your first post you said Obsidion was perched higher than the other goblins. Though, you assumed right, I did not say this. The goblins also aren't preparing for war. Please don't make assumptions. Sorry if I'm being fussy.

"Rarity? War? Dwarves... What business do you have here?!" he asked impatiently. He didn't fancy a quarrell but one was comming. "You are imposing a threat?" he began saying this of with he knew the answer. He would then twist his words.
"What exactly do you have planned for the goblins and your flame?"
He stood up slowly. This didn't make much difference to his height, though. He walked closer to Vardian. Well, as close as you can to someone on the roof. "I would mind your own business. We have nothing to tell you. Leave!"

Vardian sighed, knowing he wasn't going to get anywhere. "Very well then Obsidion. Have it your way." He took a step towards the goblin shaman, "I am only here to tell you that there has been news and sightings of a dangerous new species of brutes seen around Tarantara. Consider it a warning, as I know of no immediate threat to your..." He glanced around the cavern. "...acquired resisdence. I gave the same news to the leaders of the seven other races, and so here I will give it to you."
He spread his wings and readied himself for flight, "And, by your command, I will now take my leave as my presence is unwelcomed here. Commander Obsidion," he bowed his head slightly and then took off, wheeling through the air and flew off down a tunnel which lead to the surface...
