[ooc: Can I have a high rank in the Elven force? If not, I'm willing to change this post.]
Svea walked under the shadow of the canopy of the trees in the dead of night. She was a nocturnal person, prefering to wander at night, where the heat of the sun was not to worry her, and the crowds were not to annoy her.
She sat, looking over the ancient book in front of her. The bench she was sitting on was cool to the touch, and Svea liked it like that. Her skin was as cold that the seat never seemed to warm. She was a cold person. Icy in appearance, and to the touch. The book was black bound, with red writing across it, and Svea was immersed within its pages.
Svea didn't know if she was wanted as an advisor to the Lady Nala right at this point. She might have been wanted, but she was so immersed in the book that she was too distracted to go.
It took a sudden noise behind her to rip her out of the pages. Svea slammed the book shut to turn around and face who was behind her.

"Hello Svea." Nala smiled, for it had been quite some time since she had last seen the other elf. Nala looked around, noticing that everything was cold. The night, the atmosphere, and even the furniture. Yet that was one of the reasons Nala came here, to center herself, and to find Svea.
"There is something I have come to offer you." Nala started out slowly as she took quiet footsteps towards the elf sitting the bench. Something caught her eyes, a book? Instantly she looked at it, examining it silently. One could not denie that it was old, but a memory sparked in Nala.
The past flashed before her eyes, remembering the times when everything was simple. Though she pulled herself back to the present.

"Offer me?" Svea asked, put on guard. When Nala began looking at the book, Svea moved it away, covering it from site by placing it on the other side of the bench to where Nala was standing. It would have looked like she was merely moving the book from her lap, but Svea was trying to hide it.
"What do you have to offer me?" An image flashed in Svea's head of the Ice Plains, and a huge fortress there, an impregnable stronghold where no one would oppose her. The only thing that stood between her and that future was Nala. But Svea pushed the thought out of her mind for now, merely looking at Nala innocently, genuinly curious about what she had to offer.

"Yes." Nala paused for a moment, taking in a deep icy breath. This was something she had to do, for they were immersed in a time of war. It was things like this that would help secure herself and the country.
"We've had rough times. Though I am willing to overlook those times, for it is the time we are in now that concerns me the most. Others have spoken of your strength, and determination. So that is why I offer you this..." Nala wondered what to say. There were officers, commanders, advisers, and a few others. Though it had to fit her perfectly, and the last thing Nala needed was to be stabbed in the back.
One more breathe, which helped her hold herself together, and talk about the future.
"Our country needs you as an advisor to the queen. Yet I feel as though your talent would be better, in your environment." Nala paused, she had just said something that could change the whole path of the elves. Yet the motioned to the surrondings to support her statement.
"So if you wish to stay in your area, and govern there, you are welcome. Yet if you so desire to be around the rest of the government. Come join us. Your descision. And if none of this interests you. So it may be. Say the word." Nala smiled, everything that needed to be said, had been said. Hopefully listening to the others would benifit them, hopefully.

Svea's eyes grew wide with shock and pure thrill. The Lady Nala could not have assisted her in any greater way, though doubtless the Lady did not know it yet. She was sending Svea to the Ice Plains, she would have the whole frozen desert to herself and her elves, no other creatures inhabited the plain.
"It would be an honour." Svea chose her words carefully, remaining sitting in her position, looking up at her Lady. "There would be no greater honour than to serve from the Ice Plains."
She nodded beaming with genuine happiness. "How many elves would be granted to me, to set up an establishment within the Ice Plains."

Nala stood there, for it was one questions that caught her off guard. For of course she needed the majority in the home city, being around her. She wondered how many she was thinking.
"How many do you wish?" Nala asked, merely for the knowlege. For she had no intent on giving Svea the exact amount she asked.
The time felt akward, for she hoped this was the right desision, and that it would not effect her negatively. With a quick glance Nala realized that it would try to be useless to regret herself. Things of the past are things of the past. One cant look back.

Svea paused for a moment, Nala had been set aback by that question, it was obvious to read it from the way she responded to it. Svea wondered how far Nala's trust in her stretched. She wasn't willing to bet upon it, but then again, she had never openly been aggressive or insulting to the Lady, so it was a mystery to her how the Lady Nala felt about the somewhat colder elf.
Svea was unwilling to give an exact answer, not until she understood just how much Nala meant by 'settlement'.
"How many elves are you willing to spare?" Svea asked, answering her question with another so to direct the statement answer away from herself. If this was going to be a barter, Nala could start the hand. Svea supposed Nala's word would end the discussion, it was, after all her decision. . . for now. But Svea might be able to change her mind, or persuade her on the matter.

[[Well... there are only 5 elves on the site. But... err... I shall guess on population. Hehe.]]
Wise, though Nala, let me make the first move. "I am willing to merely give you a start of one hundred elves. Depending on their repoets, you shall get more." Nala said. For she wondered the other elves reaction, for that was a small grant. Though, the population was dwadeling.
"This is a test. To see who I can trust. For... as you may know. There is the possibility of a war, and not to mention those horrible creatures." Nala sighed, for she had just released a few of her troubles with this other elf. "I wish you luck."

Svea narrowed her eyes. Did she want to barter elves back and forth? One hundred seemed a fairly slim starting number. She wondered what boundaries concerning populations could be pressed, and what ones would be more frail, snapping far too easily and destroying what she had worked for.
"Three hundred would be far more use to me," Svea said, picking her words carefully, dancing around the topic lightly, just in case it was a frail boundary. "Remember that I need to build establishment there, and this establishment will have to have the comforts of home, for the morales of the elves to be as leveled as they are here.

Nala's eyes searched Svea, looking for emotions of distaste and other things. But nothing really could be forseen on Svea's face or in her eyes. "Yes..." Nala paused, thinking over what she had said. "Yes, one hundred it quite a small amount."
Nala pictured three hundred of her elves packing away to go live in the harsh and testing environment of the cold. Though Nala had no doubt that some would return, one hundred elves did not seem like very many to take on such a task.
A smile found its self on Nala's face, for Svea seemed to know very much about dealing with touchy topics. This made Nala appreciate her desiscion on this whole new thing.
"Yes. Three hundred is much more reasonable." Nala replied, for it only seemed to make sense.
" And as for resources, I must say I know very little of this ice haven. Yet I can see that there are little treas. How you come about this means little to me, as long as you are wise about it." Nala nodded, as she her eyes explored the place around her.
Something hit her as she peared around. There was something in the air, that now made her worry about this newly power granted elf. For there was some what mistrust, cruelty, and pride. This worried Nala, but she would not let all this go down because of her paranoia. I shall send spies, and that will be that. They will tell me how it goes.
"If there is anything uneeded and harming to that of the elven race. I shall demolish this project. You are working in fine lines, and once crossed. There will be consequences. I have trust in you, don't let me be wrong." Nala added, her face turning colder. Yet she didn't want the meeting to end on a wrong note, but that was something that needed to be said.

Lady Alana walked in. "Hi Lady Nala, Svea" she said happily. She smiled at them both and then said "Lady Nala there's someone here to talk with you." Darkmoon the black and white wolf walked through up to Lady Nala. "We must talk" she said icily smelling the strong perfume of the elves made her want to throw up.

Nala turned around, and was suprised. Her questioning eyes searched Darkmoon intensely, and then settled on Alana. "I see it is urgent. Yet this is something that needs to be discussed." Nala said, rather interested in this situation. For she stared at Alana somewhat questioning and rather harshly, this was unlike her friend to track her down and to interupt her conversation. And all of Nala hoped it was for a good reason, though she had much doubt of that.
Nala glared at the wold once more, though she was suprised at her self. There was something around this wolf that imediately put her on guard, though this was unqueenlike.
"Svea. I apologize. You have heard what I have to say. I trust, no good luck. I shall send someone to contact you by sunset tomorrow on all the fine lines." Nala said, her voice softening as she nodded at Svea awaiting her response.
"I would be very greatful if you two were to wait.." Nala paused, at a short of words, "out there." Nala said, with a light gesture of her hands. "I will be over there shortly, and we can discuss what is.." A pause once more broke into her conversation, "Needed. What is needed."

Svea looked at Nala out of the corner of her eyes until the Lady Alana walked up to them. Svea had only seen the Lady Alana in passing by, or in small talk, she wasn't too familiar with the elf. She was even less familiar with the wolf.
She stood up, somewhat stiffly after the interruption to the conversation. Svea decided she had what she needed anyway. She clutched her black book to her chest and turned to face Nala, a somewhat mysterious, or unknown, emotion written across her face, hard to pick up, even though inside Svea's emotions were flying about her head, crossing with thoughts she hadn't dare dream until now.
"Three hundred it is then." Svea said, not really worrying if the Lady Nala was going to go back on that amount. She bowed o the Lady Nala and then again, somewhat curtly to the Lady Alana and the wolf.
Svea turned swiftly on her heel, her dress flying around her like a blizzard wind and she walked with a proud posture away from the gathering. She kept her pace slow, though she really wanted to jump and run and dance and cry out for joy. Her plans were finally coming out of her head, and into the true world.

Nala politely nodded her head, taking a mental picture of the whole scene that had unfolded. There again was a book... it must be nothing though. Nala stood there paused for a moment, watching Svea exit. Then she turned to Alana and the wolf.
Taking a few steps towards them, Nala once more remembered the bow that rested upon her back. Though since Alana was here, Nala felt secure.
"Yes, Alana. And..." Nala was caught short of words, for this wolf was a new figure. "I am Queen Nala as you probably know. Yet I do not know you. And what is your business here?" The words flew out of Nala's mouth, for they were much rehearsed and repeated.
Curiosity though remained in her eyes.

Darkmoon's icy blue eyes flickered suspiciously, she didn't trust elves, or humans, or dwarves, or any others who weren't of the people of the forest for that matter. Darkmoon cleared her mind of those thoughts and focused on the queen of the elves. "I wanted to make a deal" she started boldly. "I will join your side and be your ally." she said her eyes piercing glaring at the elf, challenging the elf to refuse the deal. "Of course" she continued icily "You must protect my people of the forest, they are being killed off by the humans." She thought for a moment and then continued slyly "I'm sure I can get some others of the people of the forest to join your side also, since what the humans are doing is wrong. We are swift, powerful, silent, and brave, we make good spies." Darkmoon stared at Lady Nala "Do you accept, do you take on the challenge" she asked.
