Well, as most of you know, a little baby plot has finally been forming on this site. Something to do with giant creatures capable of massive destruction. It seems like we should have a few people join some so that we all can actually post fights against them; rathur than just having one crazy fight in one post. Do we have any volenteers for this? Or any suggestions on to how this plot could be better?

Sure, I'll volunteer to play the role of an enemy force. Only temporarily of course, but yeah... sounds like fun. Getting to play the evil guy ;D

I would but I really am jam-packed. I still need to start with Svea. If no one else can do it though, I guess I'll have to. Put me in the back-up pile.

Would we be playing specifif people, or just different parts of the army? Like... different regiments or something?

Well, Maybe whoever wants to join can be a high ranking person in that army, and they can be alone or can control forces in the army depending on the rank. Make a profile for them, but yeah, it will probably be temporary, because the good people will most likely triumph and kill or banish the giant guys.

Hmm.. I don't think this plot suits everything. You need something that is a plot. Fighting "evil" like this radnomly is more of a build up. The "rising events" as some English teachers put it xD Anyways, I think we should really sit down and discuss what the plot should be. Random ideas that sound dumb are okay to post up because someone can think of something creative off of it. There are thirteen minds on this site! We can all make up something with thirteen smart brains! I'll start off. Again, stupid ideas are still good!
Okay, i'm throwing a plot out. You may let it just fly past you or you can catch it and throw it in another direction =D What if we create lands unclaimed. two or more alliances arrive at the land at the same time. They had no idea anyone else knwe about it, but apparently they did. A small war aerupts over this land, taking lives and breaking allies. Foes will be created and the land will be lost... or claimed.. whooo, lol. Anyways, it turns out the land wasn't unclaimed (boom!) and the beasts roam this land. No one knew the High Lord (me, tehe) has set up his bcreature's lives' there. THe other people intrude, fighting with each other and the beasts are angered? Random plot, there we go! Any more?

Hmm... O.K, I can see where you're coming from with that I guess...
Why don't we actually put to mind why something would attack. Fighting over land could be a reason of course, but its bad when you base a campaign on something that might not happen. For example, a leader of an army might not neccesarily want to go into another land... but they would have to for it to work.
What we could do, is instead of making an inherently "evil" army, we could put something in there that will make the races turn against each and form disputes. Like, for example, the Selkie's hate the humans or something like that. But it would have to be something that offers power to a species...

Of course a leader would want to go to another land! If I was a leader I would. Unclaimed land means colonies. More colonies means a larger Empire. A larger Empire means more resources for both better living conditions and a stronger force. It also supplies more money to the Empire's government. How do you think WWI started? Colonies played a fair role in it. You know, the colonies in Africa owned by Britain, France, Germany and Italy? They added to the war climate. Think of the Agadir Crisis or the First Moroccan Crisis. Studying modern history at the moment.

Faolan, I'm not talking about World War Two here... I'm saying that the character who happens to play the ruler may not want to. However, if they want to then thats fine for them. I don't think anyone is nerdy enough to start talking about funsing for governments and money for peasant's living conditions for an rp site...

That is all well and good, I really like that plot, but what about the helmeted creatures weve all been dicussing in 'alliances'? I am having Ceriden being attacked by one to prove they can go in water which will make her more eager to help.
Maybe a small band of characters can set off to find out where the creatures come from; and thus discover a new land. Maybe with opressed things that need help...

Ya, I like the new land idea.
Or, as you mentioned before, there could be a battle. The "creatures" and "humans", something like that. Though for whatever reason I don't know. The creatures being the animals and such on the site, and human's being human like creatures. Just an idea I guess.
We would some how have to build to it, not an all of the sudden plot.

Or perhaps we find this new land with the helmeted creatures and then leaders may decide what their races are going to do.. blah.. blah.. blah..blah... and then we can have a small band set out to this land to discover how many... how strong... and stuff like that... The band can come back and talk about the opressed things... then BAM! Races will choose wether to fight against the creatures or not and they will also have to decide if they shall help the oppressed ones... If the races win the land against these opressing beast things, then we can also add another race... This will also have to Untie the races together for a short period of time no matter how much they like of eachother...
But then again, some races may choose not to help and thus the land will be devided..... hehehehe

Oh, and by the way, sweet as signature Kristen Thankies Ya, I agree to warming up to the plot. We don't want to figure it out all now. We think up the little twists as we go. Who are the helmeted people?? Anyways, I don't think she should make something up that will create foes forever. We should have the different alliances become allies, but then foes. But then allies? Idk, I'm just throwing things out here again.

huh?? Well these creatures, Kristen, just for an FYI are brutal mindless things that woulden't care if your character ruled the world... Your enemies with them like it or not, and who shaid Alliances and enemies have to permanent?? They never are..
